I have worked in retail for well over 20 years including fashion, low ticket and high ticket items. I have been fired. I have been promoted. I have made and lost and made again some decent amounts of money. From store manager, to regional manager, back to store manager, back to regional manager to retail director, to business owner, it has been a great experience.
Large Cheddar? The Big Cheese. It isn’t an over inflated sense of my own self importance, honest Guv. It’s what my Installation team call me, dripping with sarcasm of course.
My retail philosophy? It ain’t rocket science, pay attention to the basics and the rewards will come rolling in.
